Supporting the move to Unit4 Cloud: Arribatec supports The Growth Company’s migration

The Growth Company (GC) is a dynamic organisation in the services sector, known for its commitment to innovation, growth, and client satisfaction. As the company continued to expand, it recognised the necessity of modernising its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. In late 2021, GC initiated a pivotal project aimed at migrating its ERP system to the cloud and turned to Arribatec to manage this integration.
Sally Little, Group Finance Director at The Growth Company, knew that a migration to the cloud was going to be a complicated, multi-faceted process, and with Arribatec’s experience of working with Unit4 ERP, as well as in depth understanding of how GC use their system, Arribatec were the perfect partner for their project.

This project was something that GC hadn’t undertaken before, having previously only used on-premise ERP systems. By moving to the cloud they would be able to improve operational efficiency and scalability, as well as migrating all document Archives (Stored externally, on local drives) to inside the database and upgrading from ERP Milestone 6 to Milestone 7.
Arribatec’s implementation consultants, along with Unit4 and The Growth Company’s own internal team, worked over 6 months to deliver, not only the upgrade to Milestone7, but also the production and testing of all the scripts that were used in the new system to ensure that there was no disjointedness between different stages of the project.
The most pivotal stage of the project, however, was migrating all of The Growth Companies systems from on-premise to the Unit4 Cloud.
