Arribatec named one of the top Norwegian companies for the second consecutive year

Dagens Næringsliv (DN), the third-largest newspaper in Norway, has created a compendium of Norway’s most successful companies annually since 2003, and we are thrilled to announce that Arribatec Norway has been named on the list of Gazelle companies for the second year in a row.

Ole Christian Rousing, VP Business Services in Arribatec Norway, has explained that the knowledge, experience and expertise of our employees is the main reason we have earned our place on the list of Norway’s fastest growing and most successful companies.

“We have grown rapidly and, together with the Arribatec Group and our sister companies, we have gained colleagues all over the world and grown our portfolio of services in recent years. This has given us the opportunity to learn from each other and build on each other’s knowledge and solutions, giving us the opportunity to create value for our customers and thus achieve profitable growth.”

Gazelle companies only make up between 2 to 4% of Norway’s companies. These are the companies that meet the minimum requirement for the Gaselle award, i.e. companies with positive finances and a doubling of turnover over the last 4 years.

The criteria for becoming a Gazelle:

• Reliably and successfully delivering approved accounts
• Business total turnover at least doubled over four years
• Turnover of over one million kroner in the first year
• The company must have a positive overall operating result
• Avoided falling turnover
• Became a limited liability company 

Ole Christian explained that our journey over the last few years has taught us that we can’t always expect to be able to solve everything at once, instead we should do what we know we’re good at and build on that.

“We have tried to offer products and services that will solve everything for our customers. This is demanding to implement in practice. Lately, we have to a greater extent refined what we are good at and we are rewarded for that by our customers”

In recent years the entire Arribatec group has grown rapidly, throughout Europe, and across the globe, which has also exposed Arribatec Norway to new ways of working and more expertise. With several people on the team, and experience and knowledge in several fields, Arribatec has the expertise needed readily available when it’s needed. Ole Christian believes two things have contributed to our success and growth in recent years; prioritization and a good working environment.

“I would like to highlight two things that have contributed to our growth in recent years; Firstly, we decided which products, services and customer segments we wanted to focus on. It also meant prioritizing something that had potential in it. This has led to increased sales and that we are better at what we offer. And secondly, we create a good environment for our employees. In a competence company, the value lies in the employees.”
